interrupting this program

Excuse the dust and the tackiness of promo time here.

This just in: Amazon is offering these three titles for free if you order on December 22 or December 23. If you don’t have a Kindle, you can download a Kindle application for your computer and still read ebooks on that application.  What a great time, huh, to try out Kindle, or if you already have a Kindle, now is the time to cash in on these free offers from Kindle.

The Peppermint Bottle:  A collection of essays from this website.

A Foal Poem: Poetry by the purist artist I’ve ever encountered. These poems beckon and before you know it, you’ve slipped into something you won’t be able to leave behind. A pleasure to be part of Rose Hunter’s poetry. (Ok, I admit—I did the formatting for this book.)

YB Poetry: The Animal Issue:  And here I admit to being an assistant editor to this tremendous issue of poets writing poetry informed by animal spirits and such.

it’s taken until now to work our way through the amazon maze so we could get to the point where these titles could be offered for free, even if only for a couple days. there will be another short span of time where it can happen again, so this pleases me and i know it pleases rose as well. if you haven’t tried A Foal Poem- you are in for a many-layered experience. and then, of course, the marvelous poetry in the animal issue at YB- karla your poetry rawks over there! and what else…oh yeah, TPB. now there’s no reason to leave home without it, huh!

    Most puerile? What’s that???
Sherry you are too generous re me, but I do hope everyone checks out your terrific The Peppermint Bottle, and our YB-ster. If anyone wants to know what I think of The Peppermint Bottle there is a little blurb-review-thing I wrote about it on the Amazon page. Then again, if you read this blog, you have an idea how good the book is!
And congrats on the Pushcart nom today, for the title piece of your book!
    Nice timing huh? 🙂

chella- thanks! TPB works best on the actual kindle (because of the photos), and the poetry books work really well unless the font size you chose gets too large. have a merry christmas!
