>desk-legs and open space

I’m back, but still trying to get my desk-legs back. And when I say legs, I don’t mean that. I mean to say that Out Here, there are no lines. We get accustomed to not having to share space with anyone. If there is a line at the movies, we turn around and go home. A line can consist of five people. Five people can be three too many.
I was gone for something like six days and in that time there were zero lines and infinite open space. Except at the rodeo (and that is different because rodeos involve powerful horses and men in leather chaps.) Now, I am getting ahead of myself — the stories and photos will soon show up here, but for now I thought I’d just clock in and clock back out with promises of more in just a little bit.
Save my seat for me, okay?
